LeBron James was hyped to see his second son Bryce James battle Kiyan Anthony, the son of one of his best friends Carmelo Anthony. The two second-generation ballers faced off as part of the ongoing Nike Nike Elite Youth Basketball League.

The proud fathers were in attendance in Indiana when Bryce's Strive For Greatness slugged it out against Kiyan's Team Melo. The LA Lakers superstar was hyped about seeing his son and Kiyan play against each other.

LeBron shared on his Instagram stories:

"Them ONES!!!"

Strive For Greatness outlasted Team Melo 71-65 on Sunday, with Brayden Burries scoring 40 points. Tee Barlett added 13 points and five rebounds, while Bryce James added eight points, two rebounds and a block on 3-for-8 shooting in 20 minutes of action.

Meanwhile, Kiyan Anthony led Team Melo with 18 points and four assists. Kiyan struggled with his shot, going 6-for-19 from the field and just 6-for-11 from the free throw line. Tyler Jackson added 12 points, three assists and two steals, while Tyrell Bowles scored 10 points with three assists and a block.

LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony were both in attendance in Minneapolis to watch their sons ball out. The two future Hall of Famers started their journey together as high school phenoms and became friends along the way.

They entered the league together in 2003, with LeBron as the first overall pick, while Carmelo was the No. 3 pick. They battled it out for Rookie of the Year, but it was "The King" who conquered everything with four MVPs and as many NBA championships.

Bryce is expected to be part of the 2026 NBA draft, but that could change depending on what happens with his brother Bronny this year. Kiyan is younger and will likely be part of the 2027 NBA draft.

Bronny James turned off some scouts after he was measured at just around six-foot-one without shoes at the NBA Draft Combine. He was an undersized two-guard, considering that he's not a natural playmaker and more of a 3-and-D kind of player.

LeBron James' son inherited his father's vertical at 40.5 inches, while also showing his shooting touch. He had a rough first scrimmage game with four points and three turnovers. He bounced back the next time when his father and mother were in attendance.

Bronny finished with 13 points and 23 minutes as his team picked up the win. His performance helped convince ESPN to put him from the 98th overall prospect to the No. 54 in the upcoming draft. The Boston Celtics have the 54th pick, while the LA Lakers have the 55th selection.
