The Orlando Magic and the Brooklyn Nets squared off as part of the NBA's slate of games on Sunday. Orlando is afloat in the Eastern Conference despite injuries to stars Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner.

A lack of stars across Brooklyn and Orlando's teams caused fans to critique the matchup on social media, including popular sports analyst Famous Los, who boasts over 300,000 followers on X. Famous Los shared a post regarding the lack of star power featured in the matchup.

"Look at Brooklyn's team and look at Orlando's team, and we wonder why the ratings are down. We got teams with (LeBron James), (Anthony Davis) on the same team. We've got teams with Bradley Beal, Devin Booker and Kevin Durant on the same team, (Giannis Antetokounmpo) and Damian Lillard are on the same team... There's no superstar here."

Famous Los humorously added a potential fix to the NBA's declining ratings.

"If all the superstars weren't on the same teams, maybe the ratings would be higher."

The league's ratings have taken a sizeable dip to start the 2024-25 NBA season. However, with a strong slate of games on Christmas day, there was an upward curve.

Magic complete 21-point comeback versus Nets

The Orlando Magic gave Famous Los something to be excited about with a 21-point second-half comeback. At the time of his video, Brooklyn led Orlando 88-74 with eight minutes remaining in the fourth quarter.

From that moment, the Magic ignited a 27-13 run to steal a 102-101 victory. Orlando outscored Brooklyn 34-18 in the fourth quarter but found themselves down 101-100 after two free throws from Jalen Wilson.

With the final seconds ticking off the clock, Cole Anthony heaved up a floater to give the Magic a 102-101 lead with just 1.1 seconds remaining. Orlando forced a miss from Cam Thomas to clinch a win despite the absence of Banchero, Franz, and Mo Wagner. Jalen Suggs was also missing in action due to a wrist sprain.

The Magic were led by Tristan da Silva, who finished with a team-high 21 points, along with seven assists, six rebounds, and a block on the defensive end.
