"This fool really aging backward"- Fans react as LeBron James seeks NBA Twitter advice on buying comic books

Aside from his work on the basketball court, LeBron James has other interests outside of his profession. The 20-time All-Star took to social media for help getting back into something he enjoyed in his younger days.

Two days after the LA Lakers picked up an opening-night win against the Minnesota Timberwolves, LeBron went to X for some off-court suggestions. He wants to get back into comic books and is hoping fans can point him in the right direction.

While a handful of fans did provide helpful remarks, some took this as an opportunity to crack jokes on LeBron James.

The majority of fans applauded the Lakers star for inquiring about such a hobby and his choice of superhero.

"king, you gotta check out absolute batman! you’ll LOVE it!" one fan said.

"Unc Tapped In With Batman W," another fan said.

"LeBron uniting the CB community in the comments, love to see it." said one fan.

This is not the first time LeBron has expressed an interest in diving into the superhero world. Back in March, he was among those excited to see Disney+ add "X-Men '97" to their catalog.

"Where can I watch the new X-Men 97 animated series??" LeBron wrote. "I love it back in the days."

LeBron James also enjoys playing video games in his downtime. Similar to on the court, he has become one of the top players in the game he likes to play most.

Outside of basketball, LeBron is a big fan of football. His fandom is on full display every year when the new addition to the "Madden" franchise comes out.

"Madden 25" hit the shelves midway through August, around the time LeBron James was gearing up to compete in the Summer Olympics. Despite this, he's already managed to climb the ranks in the game. Last week, LeBron posted on his Instagram story that he is among the top 100 online-ranked players in Madden 25.

When he's not gaming or pursuing old interests, LeBron is leading the charge for the Lakers. On Tuesday, they played their first game of the 2024-25 season and began the year with a victory. Aside from his historic moment with Bronny James, LeBron had 16 points, five rebounds, and four assists in the 110-103 win.
