"This is what LeBron did to his child": Jason Whitlock blames LeBron James after Bill Burr namedrops Bronny James on SNL

Jason Whitlock minced no words when he blamed LeBron James after his son Bronny was name-dropped on SNL earlier. The LA Lakers rookie caught a stray when Michael Che said Donald Trump was leading by a whopping margin over opposing candidate Kamala Harris that they put in in Bronny. This had the audience and social media in splits that also saw the young guard become somewhat of a meme material on X soon after.

Whitlock took to X (formerly Twitter) to call out James for the sequence of events, blaming the 4x NBA champion.

"This is what LeBron did to his child. Make-a-Swish kid."

Earlier in one of his segments, Whitlock opined that James was ruining the league with Bronny James being drafted as a PR stunt.

"They get their b**t kicked but after the game, LeBron James has his ‘moment’ with Bronny in Cleveland. They’re in Cleveland, let’s bring our little ‘Make-A-Swish' kid out and have him run around Cleveland on the basketball court like he’s done something, and like people in Cleveland give a damn about Bronny James."

He called it "reality TV" where the NBA's all-time leading scorer had turned the rookie into the ‘Make-A-Swish' kid.

LeBron James reveals what it was like playing alongside Bronny against the Cavaliers

Despite the loss, it was an unforgettable evening for the James family as they witnessed an iconic moment with LeBron James and Bronny taking the floor together against their hometown team.

"He's better than I would have been in that situation. 20,000 fans screaming my name and wanting me to get in the game... I just commend him on his composure, the way he approaches the game, approach life in general. To see him get his first NBA basket in this arena, he grew up not too far away from here, just an unbelievable moment for him, an unbelievable moment for our family. It's cool to be a part of it."

Bronny played five minutes in the blowout defeat, scoring two points and adding a pair of assists, plus a steal. Even though LA didn't get the desired result it wanted on Wednesday, the James family had their moment where they saw Bronny get his first points at an arena he went to growing up. His father James, drafted by the Cavs in 2003, played 11 years in Cleveland and made it to five NBA Finals, winning a title for them in 2016.
