"This was the worst of the four games"- Steve Kerr not impressed with Golden State Warriors despite winning their first road game since Jan. 30

The Golden State Warriors finally secured a victory on the road on Monday (Mar. 20) night against the Houston Rockets. The Warriors proved their dominance over the last-placed Rockets in a 121-108 win. It was Golden State's first road game victory since Jan. 30. Despite getting the job done, coach Steve Kerr wasn't impressed with how the Warriors won the game.

During a post-game press conference, Kerr said that he has already forgotten the last time Golden State won on the road. Winning against Houston was much needed, but he feels his players didn't put in much effort. Kerr pointed out that despite losing their first three games during the road trip, he felt that the team put up solid performances compared to Monday night.

"It's been a long time," Kerr said. "I don't remember the last road game we won, it's been a while. ... I actually felt like we played decently in the first three games of this trip. Lost all three but had our chances in all three. I liked our effort, I liked a lot of the execution. Ironically, I thought this was the worst of the four games that we've played on this trip."

Can Golden State Warriors clinch playoff berth?

With only nine games remaining in their season, the Golden State Warriors are running out of time to clinch a playoff spot. After their win against the Houston Rockets on Monday night, the Warriors are now sixth in the West. This should be a good thing considering how the top six teams in both conferences are guaranteed a playoff spot.

However, the battle for playoff spots in the West has been close. Most of the teams in the West have been neck-and-neck, with their records being at least one game apart. Golden State has a 37-36 record. If they lose their next three games, they could easily be knocked out of the playoffs, let alone the play-in tournament.

At this point, the Warriors should take advantage of the rank they have and do everything they can to win their upcoming games.
