Denzel Washington and Jay-Z were among the celebrities present at Crypto.com Arena on Tuesday (February 7) as the LA Lakers took on the OKC Thunder. The two celebrities were in attendance as LeBron James broke Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's record to become the NBA's all-time leading scorer.
At some point after the game, Washington was caught on camera dapping up Jay-Z. The talented actor then proceeded to have some kind of argument with someone. Jay-Z stepped up to calm down Washington, who was still talking to the person.
NFL legend Shannon Sharpe was also in the video as he approached Washington and Jay-Z. Things didn't escalate, with Hov and Denzel hugging it out towards the end of the video.

Denzel Washington is a longtime LA Lakers fan
Denzel Washington might be from New York City, but he has been a longtime fan of the LA Lakers. Washington has been a season-ticket holder since the "Showtime" era of the Lakers with Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
Washington is a regular at Lakers games when he's not busy filming. He even participated in the team's "Genius Talks" in 2018. It's a series of seminars given by personalities who're successful in their own field, trying to motivate the Lakers players.
Previous speakers include Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Elon Musk and Kendrick Lamar. LeBron James told ABC how it's inspiring to hear the people he grew up admiring give him advice.
"I grew up watching these guys," James said. "I grew up admiring these guys, admiring their craft, wanting to be like certain characters they portrayed either in TV shows or movies or in standup. So, that's what it all boils down to. I appreciate those guys and thank them more than they know."
