Fans react to Jared McCain's first TikTok video in Philadelphia 76ers uniform. The Sixers took a chance on McCain with their 16th pick in the 2024 NBA Draft and people are excited to see what he can bring. However, there have been a few who have not been on the boat with him with his internet videos.
McCain had an excellent year at Duke University. Even though he only played one year in college, it was enough to get the attention of NBA scouts, leading him to declare for the draft. The 6-2 guard played 36 games in college and put up 14.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.9 assists.
Aside from his basketball skills, McCain is also known online through his content in TikTok. The promising guard has expressed his love for dancing on his account, which has now grown to have 3 million followers. He added new content recently while wearing his Sixers threads for the first time.

However, not everyone is on board with what he does online. Some fans have expressed their disappointment with the Sixers rookie. Here are some of what the fans had to say.
"Tiktokers getting drafted?....what happened to the game I love?" a fan said.
"Ngl, leave this on tiktok . if this going to be a reaccuring thing i see on twitter imma just have to mute bro name," another fan said.
"Philly fanbase gonna eat this dude alive," a fan posted.
"So cringe holy🤣 Philly not rocking with him," another fan posted.
However, there were a few fans who shared some positivity.
"I can’t even hate on bro. Look how happy he is," a fan said.
"I’m rooting for him but change the dance lmao," a fan posted.
Jared McCain now making TikTok videos for Sixers
Jared McCain didn't waste any time in making his presence known to the Sixers organization. He now has two videos on the team's TikTok account. McCain doesn't seem fazed by the negative comments from NBA fans as he's consistently making videos for the team.
His first video was his usual dance routine wearing the team uniform. The other video was his version of the "two days into college" meme on the social media platform. After all, it's been two days since Philly decided to draft the rookie.
