During round one of the NBA Draft, Rob Dillingham was one of many prospects who put together a stylish outfit for the evening. After hearing his name called in the lottery, his girlfriend showered him with love on social media.

Following one season at Kentucky, Dillingham decided to declare for the draft. This would end up being a wise decision, as he was selected eighth overall by the San Antonio Spurs. Not long after being selected, Dillingham found himself in a trade. The Spurs re-routed him to the Minnesota Timberwolves in exchange for a first-round pick and a pick swap.

Following the draft, Rob Dillingham posted a series of photos on Instagram of his embroidered suit. Among the many people to comment on this post was his girlfriend, Ramiyah Guerra. She left a series of emojis under Dillingham's post.

Dillingham is a 6-foot-guard with lots of offensive upside. In his lone college season, he averaged 15.2 points and 3.9 assists while shooting 44.4% from beyond the arc.

Not much is known about Guerra, though she does have over 500,000 followers on Instagram. The young guard has chosen to keep his personal life private, so there is no clear timeline for how long the two have been together.

Rob Dillingham opens up on draft day trade to Minnesota Timberwolves

Following the San Antonio Spurs opting to trade him, Rob Dillingham finds himself in a very rare position. Along with being one of the top prospects of his class, he is heading to a team that is already in a position to contend for a championship.

The Minnesota Timberwolves were one of the NBA's top teams last season, making their way to the conference finals. Now, Dillingham is joining a roster headlined by stars like Anthony Edwards and Karl-Anthony Towns.

After being drafted, Rob Dillingham sat down with Taylor Rooks to talk about the trade. He felt the team had a chance to win it all last year, and acquiring him could get them one step closer to achieving that goal.

"Just another scorer and another player that also playmakes and does everything honestly," Dillingham said. "They just need one more piece. I feel like they were honestly good this year and they could have won it this year."
"Adding me is just a plus to the team and whatever it does it does."

Being on such a competitive team, Dillingham will be under a lot of pressure in his rookie season. If he wants any chance at playing consistently, he'll have to hit the ground running from day one.

Seeing that the Timberwolves have their starting point guard in Mike Conley, Dillingham will likely assume a bench role. With his skill set, he could provide a scoring punch for the second unit when the stars are off the floor.
