Former NFL star Tom Brady has reportedly taken an interest in ownership of a WNBA team, the Las Vegas Aces.
Details of how big his ownership will be haven't been confirmed, but he has shared his excitement at joining the Aces. On Twitter, Brady posted a video confirming the news and expressed his desire to be part of the Las Vegas franchise.
"I'm excited to announce, I'm gonna become part of the Las Vegas Aces organization." Brady said.
"I grew up with three older sisters; they were all incredible athletes in their own right; they were role models to me. It's where my love for women's sports began. I tagged along, I was the annoying little brother to all their games, and they were the best athletes in our house, and they're a still a great inspiration to me."

"I admire all the work the Aces players and staff and what the WNBA continues to do to grow the sport. And to empower the future generations of female athletes, when I have in my own family, and I'm ready to contribute in any way possible as a member of such a great organization, what an honor."
Details of how much he owns haven't been revealed, but sources have said that Brady is a minority owner of the organization. For a team that achieved success last season, things are going well for the Las Vegas Aces right now.

Las Vegas Aces could win the title next season
The Las Vegas Aces are the hottest WNBA team right now. They're coming off an impressive 2022 season, where they won the Commissioner's Cup and the WNBA Championship. That happened after Becky Hammon took over as coach and led the team to a deep run.
The Aces are now looking to make a return to the finals, making astute offseason moves. Their big five is still intact, and they've added more help for them to make another shot at winning the title. Candace Parker signed with Las Vegas after two years with the Chicago Sky, adding another star to their lineup.
Based on these moves, the Aces could be the favorites to win their second straight title. With a well-experienced coach in Hammon, they could be the team to beat in the league in 2023.
