Tyrese Haliburton has had a mixed start to the 2024-25 NBA season. Struggling to score on the road compared to his games at home the former Kings guard has been under heavy scrutiny.
The 24-year-old has been a promising talent but is averaging 17.5 points per game, as his scoring has been poor and below expectations. Another sub-par performance away from home during his team's defeat to the Memphis Grizzlies caused fans to ridicule Haliburton.
Fans went in on Tyrese for failing to be consistent with his form with a Twitter account blaming it on his interactions with Caitlin Clark:
"Too busy trynna rizz up Caitlin Clark," wrote a fan.

Replying to a graphic by Hoops Central, other fans soon joined in on the slander:
"He needs to step it up. He’s been awful this year," expressed a fan.
"Not exactly looking like an All-Star during that run," wrote another.
"This is one of the fastest drop offs I ever seen, what happened to this young man" questioned a third.
Some fans were quick to call him a one-season wonder as he struggles to show his form from last season:
"He seems to be a season wonder," commented a Twitter handle."
"Most overrated player in the east" wrote another expressing his thoughts.
Although many fans have started writing him off, Haliburton has been a threat at home. Despite his poor away form, a few good games could boost his confidence and help him regain his composure.
Tyrese struggles away from home once again against the Memphis Grizzlies
During the Indiana Pacer's game against the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday, Tyrese Haliburton struggled to turn up once again as he was left with an abysmal scoring stat. The former Iowa State star has been struggling to score away from the Gainbridge Fieldhouse with the Pacers reflecting a 2-9 away record too.
The Indiana star is desperate for change, averaging 11 points and a field goal percentage of 27.28% in his last five games on the road. Haliburton's away form has affected the Pacers too as they failed to win their last six away games.
Tyrese scored eight points and had seven assists while collecting two rebounds and had a field goal percentage of 30%.
Bennedict Mathurin's 19 points didn't make much of a difference as the Grizzlies eased past the Pacers and handed them their second consecutive defeat of the season. Currently 8th in the table the team from Indianapolis will need their star man to turn up if they are to qualify for the playoffs this season.
