Matisse Thybulle said goodbye to the Philadelphia 76ers and their fans in a very unique way. Thybulle, who has been demoted to the back end of head coach Doc Rivers' rotation this season, was traded to the Portland Trail Blazers in a four-team deal.

In a video posted by Thybulle on his Instagram account, the 25-year-old swingman went to his mural outside the Garage Fishtown bar. He then used a white spray paint to write, "Thank you Philly" plus his signature.

According to Uproxx, the mural was finished in 2021 as part of the Sixers' partnership with Red Bull. Thybulle might not be the best player on the team, but has been named to the All-Defensive second team in his second and third year in the league.

Some Philadelphia 76ers fans were disappointed by Matisse Thybulle's trade to the Portland Trail Blazers. Thybulle remains one of the best young perimeter defenders in the NBA.

After teaming up with players such as Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons and James Harden in Philly, Thybulle now gets to play alongside Damian Lillard.

Here are some of the best reactions to Thybulle's viral video:

"I'm crying this too sad for me to handle"
"Gon miss you in Philly go make em pay"
"Thank you Matisse!! Your smile & pure joy will be greatly missed here in Philly!! Wishing you blessings on top of blessings in all you future endeavors!!"

The Portland Trail Blazers were one of the most active teams at the NBA trade deadline. The Blazers traded Josh Hart to the New York Knicks for Cam Reddish. They also parted ways with Gary Payton II in a four-team trade to acquire Matisse Thybulle.

Blazers general manager Joe Cronin seemed happy with all the trades he made at the deadline. Cronin told reporters on Friday that Thybulle has been on his radar for some time.

"Matisse Thybulle's a flat-out elite defender and as you heard me talk earlier that's something we're really emphazing," Cronin said. "For us, Matisse has always been a target and we were really excited to get him at a pretty good price."
