NBA legend Tracy McGrady was one of the best offensive players in the association during his best years. Unfortunately, injuries were ruthless with him, but McGrady knew how to light up the league when he was fully healthy.
His opinion matters a lot, especially when it comes to all-time rankings. However, one of his recent top-fives included some big surprises, as he snubbed several legends from his top five shooters of all time list:
"Top five shooters of all time? Right off the bat, I got Steph [Curry], of course. Klay [Thompson], of course. Mark Price, of course. Craig Hodges, of course. Last but not least, I gotta go with Reggie Miller," Tracy McGrady said.
"Who's the best of those five? Steph. Steph's the greatest shooter of all time. That's not even a debate."

This is quite the list, considering he left off Ray Allen, widely considered the second-best shooter of all time behind Stephen Curry, and the player with the most 3-points made before Curry broke the record last season.
Moreover, another big-time shooter, Kevin Durant, was also snubbed by McGrady. The Phoenix Suns star is one of the best scorers in NBA history, but there's no doubt that his shooting skills have gotten better over the years, becoming a key part of his arsenal.
Tracy McGrady doesn't go on to explain why he picked these players or why he ignored any others.
NBA analyst says Kevin Durant is never going to get the credit he deserves
Despite being a one-time NBA MVP, two-time NBA champion and two-time NBA Finals MVP, Kevin Durant is one of the most criticized stars of all time. The 35-year-old forward went from being one of the most loved players in the league during his time with the OKC Thunder to public enemy No. 1 when he signed with the Golden State Warriors.
Fans are still trying to get over that situation, which one analyst considers is the reason why "KD" will perhaps never get the credit he deserves:
"I sometimes wonder, was [going to the Warriors] the worst thing that happened to Kevin Durant? Because he went there, he won two titles, two Finals MVPs. No one’s gonna take that away from him. He’s never going to get the credit that those accomplishments would normally bestow on him because of how good the team was. I think he’s realized that," ESPN's Zach Lowe said last week.
There's a possibility that this could be a reason – or at the very least a factor – as to why Tracy McGrady snubbed Durant, as it is curious to see he didn't make it while players like Craig Hodges and Mark Price did.
