Shelby's three-word post was in response to Trae Young scoring a season-high 43 points in the 122-117 win over the Suns. Extending the Hawks' dominance on home court with their 11th consecutive victory.

Young also added five assists, three rebounds, three steals and six 3-pointers. This was another 40-point performance from Young, which puts him in eighth place with the most 40-point games by a point guard in league history.

The matchup also saw a huge performance from Onyeka Okongwu, who recorded a double-double of 22 points and 21 rebounds from the bench—the first player in Hawks history to achieve that feat.

This season, Young averages 23.1 points, 3.4 rebounds and 11.9 assists per game for the ninth-place Atlanta Hawks.

When Trae Young proposed to his girlfriend, Shelby Young

Trae Young took the NBA world by storm when he proposed to his girlfriend, Shelby Miller, and announced it on Instagram on Dec. 16, 2021.

In the post, Young was down on one knee while holding a ring box. He was dressed in a black outfit and paired with white sneakers, in front of a "Marry Me" sign. Miller, who wore a stylish black mini dress and black boots, showed off the engagement ring in another picture, as the couple both stood in front of the decorative backdrop of balloons.

After reportedly being together since 2017, the pair married on July 22, 2023. They are blessed with a son, Tydus Reign Young, born in June 2022.

They first met while attending the University of Oklahoma, where she was a cheerleader for the Sooners and he was on the basketball team.

Currently in his seventh season with the Hawks, the three-time All-Star is averaging 25.3 ppg, 3.6 rpg and 9.7 apg.
