LeBron James and Tristan Thompson have shared the floor together as teammates. After some eye-opening comments from former teammate Mario Charlmers, Thompson defended James.

The basketball world has been raving about Mario Chalmers' recent comments about former teammate LeBron James. Chalmers spent multiple seasons playing alongside James as teammates with the Miami Heat. During an interview with "Playmaker," Chalmers said:

"Nobody fears Bron. Nobody's like, 'Damn, I gotta go play against Bron tonight.' Nobody said that."

That got the attention of Tristan Thompson, who spent four seasons playing alongside LeBron with the Cleveland Cavaliers. On "The Draymond Green Show," Thompson said:

“Miami LeBron is the most scariest LeBron we’ve ever seen in our life,” Thompson said to Draymond Green, who agreed. “That was athleticism at a whole 'nother level.”

Thompson called out Chalmers for his remark about James:

“Mario Chalmers at one point you was probably texting LeBron to get on a team for a job.”

Tristan Thompson and LeBron James have always shared a special relationship over their time in the NBA. That's why Thompson commented on the remarks made by Mario Chalmers.

Thompson was selected fourth in the 2011 NBA draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers. He became a respectable big man during his first three years, averaging 10.8 points and 8.6 rebounds per game.

After James left the Miami Heat and re-joined the Cleveland Cavaliers for the 2014-15 season, he spent the next four seasons in Cleveland, growing his friendship with Thompson as a teammate.

In each of the four seasons in which Thompson and James played together, they made the NBA Finals, including winning the 2016 championship over the Golden State Warriors.

Thompson is still looking to find the next stop of his basketball journey. According to reports, Thompson worked out for the LA Lakers, suggesting a potential reunion between the former teammates. However, the Lakers reportedly have "no imminent plans" to sign anyone at the moment.
