Tristan Thompson owes ex-Jordan Craig $224K in child support just weeks after being hailed as great dad by Kim Kardashian

The Cleveland Cavaliers' Tristan Thompson might be in trouble for missing child support payments to his first baby mama Jordan Craig. The report about Thompson's failure as a father came just weeks after Kim Kardashian praised him for being a great father.

The Daily Mail found court documents filed by Craig, who is the mother of Thompson's first child, a son named Prince Oliver. The social media personality is claiming that the one-time NBA champ owes her $224,000 in child support payments since November 2022.

Craig is asking the court to get $80,000 from his monthly salary with the Cavaliers. Thompson signed a one-year, veteran's minimum deal this offseason.

"It is my belief that Tristan signed a 'veteran's minimum' contract with the Cavaliers that pays him $2.7 million per year," Craig's statement on the documents said. "The $80,000 request is certainly less than half of his monthly salary."

Jordan Craig's filing came less than a month after her sister Kai Craig put Kim Kardashian on blast for praising Tristan Thompson. Kardashian called Thompson a "good dad" in an episode of "The Kardashians." The Cleveland Cavaliers star used to be married to Kim's sister Khloe, who has two children with him.

"It's so painful to see how Tristan can find the time to do these nice things for others, but can't seem to show up and be a real parent for my nephew Prince," Kai wrote on Instagram. "The fact that he can take other children to school and activities in the same city, yet never sees or speaks to his own son, unless it's for a party or planned photo opportunity, it is appealing and inexcusable."
