Tyrese Haliburton performs spot-on recreation of Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' poster for Halloween

Tyrese Haliburton of the Indiana Pacers is getting into the Halloween spirit. For the holiday, Haliburton shared some pictures online on Monday featuring his Michael Jackson costume. He donned the King of Pop's iconic Thriller outfit from 1982.

"Something evil’s lurking in the dark," Haliburton posted.

The All-Star guard was in full gear for Halloween as he posed in front of the camera in the iconic red Thriller jacket paired with red pants. The Pacers star went all-out for Halloween this year as he even got a few people to dress up as zombies to complete the look.

The guard reproduced the iconic Michael Jackson poster featuring the zombies. With Haliburton's arms crossed, the zombies surrounded him in front of a black backdrop, recreating the iconic poster. The Olympic gold medalist also recreated the recognizable meme of the artist eating popcorn.

The Pacers star also posed for a Halloween photo-op with his girlfriend, Jade Jones, who dressed up as pop singer Sabrina Carpenter. The photos of them together were posted on Jones' Instagram stories.

Tyrese Haliburton likes Halloween. The Pacers star has worn some striking ensembles throughout the years.

Back in 2020, Haliburton dressed up as the classic DC Comics villain, the Joker. The iteration of the comic book character he chose was from the 2008 film "The Dark Knight." Specifically, Hali chose the scene where Joker posed as a nurse to talk to Harvey Dent (Two-Face) in the hospital.

In 2021, the Pacers star went full green as The Grinch. The green character created by Dr. Suess took over for Halloween, teasing the Christmas holiday early on. The young point guard was committed to his costume as he even wore a pair of Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Grinch” sneakers to complete his ensemble.

In 2023, he wore a Spider-Man costume. It wasn't any ordinary costume, though, as he picked up the Miles Morales version, while his girlfriend, Jones, wore the Spider-Gwen costume. The couple made a comic-accurate duo last Halloween.
