Tyrese Maxey and the Philadelphia 76ers took on the Chicago Bulls on Sunday. Joel Embiid returned to the Sixers lineup after missing seven games due to recurring knee issues. While he didn't disappoint, Tyrese Maxey's performance was also a key factor in Philadelphia's 108–100 victory.

Maxey notched his first-ever triple-double in his NBA career. The star guard took five seasons to get this achievement. Maxey scored 25 points, 14 assists and 11 rebounds to lead the Sixers to victory. Interestingly, the Sixers guard wasn't shooting the ball well that night. He shot 25% from beyond the arc and 45.5% overall.

Embiid's return to the hardwood was a blessing for Philly. The star big man notched a huge double-double outing, showing no signs of court rust despite missing several games. Embiid added 31 points, 12 rebounds, four assists and two blocks to support Tyrese Maxey's triple-double performance.

Another Sixers player who notched a double-double was Kelly Oubre Jr. The Sixers guard posted 12 points, 10 rebounds and three steals. Oubre Jr. was also the most efficient three-point shooter for the Philadelphia squad, as he sank 66.7% of his long-distance shots.

Two other Sixers players in double figures were Paul George and the rookie Jared McCain. PG struggled to find his rhythm from deep but still scored 12 points and seven rebounds. Meanwhile, rookie McCain added 11 points, four assists and three steals.

The Philadelphia 76ers have won two straight games after beating the Chicago Bulls on Sunday. With Embiid back in the lineup, fans can't wait to see what their trio of Paul George and Tyrese Maxey can do.
