NBA fans had mixed responses to a healthy-looking Zach LaVine after a clip of his offseason workouts did the rounds on social media. The Chicago Bulls star has dealt with a difficult offseason so far with no takers for his services as his relationship with the franchise continues to reportedly sour. His latest had fans torn between LaVine having a good season or that his injury and inconsistency woes continue.
The clip sees LaVine looking fitter and healthier as he nailed a dunk with absolute ease.
One of the fans believed that LaVine was "underrated" as a player.

"He is sooo underrated"
Another fan felt there was always an element of inconsistency with the shooting guard. @barkleysburner wrote:
"Too inconsistent"
More mixed responses followed. @joakimmuse tweeted:
"Zach healthy is a top 5 sg in this league"
@playoffskee was happy to engage with Miami Heat fans for a trade.
"I’ll ship herro for lavine right now but Pat Riley asleep"
@ohsportstalk had a different opinion.
"No we don't forget. We know he's talented but he isn't conducive to winning. And that's people's issue with his game"
@draftguru echoed a similar sentiment.
"His perception is just skewed because of the massive contract and the fact he never stays healthy."
LaVine played just 25 games last season before a foot injury shut him down for the rest of the edition. He averaged 19.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.9 rebounds — his lowest scoring performance since his first season with the Bulls in 2016-17.
While he does appear healthy in his latest post, Zach LaVine comes with a fair share of his injury issues and a hefty contract that makes him a difficult piece to move.
Chicago Bulls actively trying to shop Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic
Earlier, it was reported that the Chicago Bulls are actively trying to trade Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic. While the SG and the Bulls looking to part ways has been reported for sometime now, Vucevic is a latest entrant to the trade conversations. At the time of writing, there are no moves made by other teams for the duo.
The Bulls made their intentions of fielding a new-look unit clear when they traded away Alex Caruso for Josh Giddey, and later sent DeMar DeRozan to the Sacramento Kings. They selected Chicago native Matas Buzelis as the No. 11 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, while also re-signing Patrick Williams. The question now is whether they will end up with Zach LaVine suiting up for them on opening night next season.
