Two-time NBA All-Star Isaiah Thomas reportedly worked out for the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday in Las Vegas, as he looks to crack a spot at training camp and make the official roster next season.

NBA Insider Shams Charania reported the development on social media, saying that 35-year-old 'IT' was among those who worked out for the Bucks along with other veteran guards, including Justice Winslow, Hamido Diallo, Will Barton and Jaylen Nowell.

Thomas played six games for the Phoenix Suns last season after being signed by the team midway into their campaign. He played very little minutes and averaged just 1.3 points.

Selected by the Sacramento Kings with the 60th pick in the 2011 draft, he steadily worked his way up to establish himself in the league. His best years came with the Boston Celtics from 2015 to 2017, where he averaged 24.7 points and six assists.

Thomas, however, found his way to eight different teams in the next six seasons and even missed the entire 2022-23 season after being left unsigned. Prior to joining the Suns, he played for the Salt Lake City Stars in the G League.

Isaiah Thomas just loves playing basketball

In one of his interviews before joining the Suns midway last season, Thomas spoke about what basketball meant to him:

"Before I loved anything, I loved basketball. It just brings a smile to my face. It's never felt like work. It's never felt like it's been hard. It's just something, obviously I've been really good at it since I was young, but everything about the game of basketball I loved, and I know until that goes away like I'm going to give everything I have," he said.

He added:

"No matter if it's in the G League, back in the NBA ... or back at the crib hooping with the kids. It doesn't matter. That feeling is just the same."

Throughout his NBA career, Thomas averaged 17.5 points, 4.8 assists and 2.4 rebounds in 556 games.

Before he got drafted, he played for three years at the collegiate level with the Washington Huskies—where he was an All-Pac-10 standout with career averages of 16.4 points, four assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.2 steals.
