One of the Metropolitans 92 players has NBA connections

Before he was one of the top players alongside Victor Wembanyama on Metropolitans 92, Tremont Waters had a brief stint in the NBA. The former second-round pick suited up for multiple teams before making the jump overseas.

Waters was the 51st overall pick by the Boston Celtics back in 2019. He appeared in 37 games across two seasons, and averaged 3.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists in that time.

After being released in 2021, Waters signed deals with the Toronto Raptors and Washington Wizards. However, he only played in a total of three games between both teams.

During his time in the NBA, Waters spent a majoirty of time in the G-League. In his time there, he posted averages of 18.0 points, 3.2 rebounds and 7.3 assists.

As for Steeve Ho You Fat, his professional basketball career has been played entirely overseas. The 34 year old forward has played in 27 games this year and is averaging 4.7 points and 1.9 rebounds.

It has not be indicated what kind of punishment the two will face regarding their fight in the locker room. The first step in the procedure is an interview where each side will have an opportunity to share their side of what went down. From there, more information is likely to emerge in regards to what will happen to the two moving forward.
