Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs took on the LA Clippers on New Year's Eve. The Spurs are coming from a 112-110 loss at the hands of the Minnesota Timberwolves in their last outing. Despite their shortcomings, Wembanyama proved to be dominant on Sunday as he put up 34 points, eight rebounds, two blocks and one steal.

Going up against the Clippers, Wemby and the Spurs looked to get back in the win column. Wembanyama was off to a hot start in the first half as he popped off for 21 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two blocks. He also shot an efficient 53.8% from the field to establish a 20-point lead before the end of the half.

Come the third quarter, Victor Wembanyama cooled down a bit as he only added six more points to his total score. Nevertheless, his efforts were sufficient enough to maintain the dominant lead they established in the first half.

Supporting him on offense were Stephon Castle and Keldon Johnson, who both hit double figures in the third quarter. Ultimately, the San Antonio Spurs came out on top with a dominant 122-86 victory.

The LA Clippers raised the white flag in the fourth quarter, as none of the Spurs nor Clippers starters played for the entire period.

The San Antonio Spurs went up against the LA Clippers on Tuesday night. The Spurs came up with an overwhelming 122-86 victory over the Clippers to celebrate New Year's Eve.

Dominating the game was none other than San Antonio’s towering Frenchman, Victor Wembanayama. Despite not playing all four quarters, Wembanyama was the best player on the floor. His first-half takeover is what helped the Spurs establish a commanding lead.

Wemby had a solid all-around game adding 27 points, nine rebounds, five assists, three blocks and one steal.

Supporting the big man on offense were three other Spurs players, Keldon Johnson, Stephon Castle and Harrison Barnes. Johnson added 17 points and six rebounds. Castle, on the other hand, put up 15 points, four assists, four rebounds, one steal and one black. As for Barnes, he added 11 points and four rebounds.
