The Golden State Warriors will be without four key players when they square off against the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday. Playing the first game of a back-to-back, Steph Curry and his team face a tough challenge against a red-hot Kings squad that has won nine of its last ten games.

On a positive note for coach Steve Kerr, Steph Curry is cleared to play against the Kings. However, the four-time NBA champion is expected to sit out Thursday’s game against the Chicago Bulls.

The concerning news for Warriors fans is the absence of veteran forward Draymond Green, who has been sidelined for at least a week due to a left calf strain. Green sustained the injury during Saturday’s game against the Washington Wizards and has already missed the subsequent matchup against the Boston Celtics.

In addition to Green, the Warriors will also be without Kyle Anderson (left gluteal bursitis), Jonathan Kuminga (right ankle sprain) and Brandin Podziemski (right abdominal injury management) for the game against the Kings.

The Warriors' season has taken a significant downturn, with the team falling from the top of the Western Conference standings earlier in the year to now sitting outside the play-in spots.

While injuries have certainly been a factor, Steph Curry and his squad have struggled for consistency over the past two months, enduring more blowout losses than they would have anticipated or hoped for.
