New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson is considered by NBA executives as a potential fit for the Golden State Warriors, according to ESPN's Tim MacMahon and Bobby Marks. On Tuesday's episode of "The Kevin O'Connor Show," O'Connor floated the possibility, suggesting that Williamson to the Warriors makes a lot of sense.
He predicted this could be Williamson's breakout season if he stays healthy. He also noted that a potential pairing with Steph Curry would create a formidable duo.
"Can you imagine what Steph Curry-Zion Williamson's two-man game (will be)?" O'Connor said. " ... I say that not sarcastically at all."

Williamson's injury status was revealed by New Orleans Pelicans coach Willie Green, as reported by The Atletics's Will Guillory on Monday. Green said that Williamson took part in five-on-five drills for the first time since November.
He is listed as available ahead of Tuesday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves and his availability will be a huge boost to the Pelicans as they aim to win three consecutive games.
In six games played this season, Williamson averaged 22.7 points, 8.0 rebounds and 5.3 assists.
Zion Williamson to reach weight clause in $197 million contract
Zion Williamson will meet his contract requirement of having a combined weight and body fat percentage below 295. It will guarantee him 20% of his salary for the 2025-26 season.
He signed a five-year $197.2 million extension with the Pelicans in July 2022. The deal has a clause that 80% of his salary becomes guaranteed based on the number of games he played in the previous season.
Williamson has already missed 27 games this campaign, so he won't reach the 61-game mark. He hasn't played since sustaining a hamstring injury on Nov. 6.
The Pelicans have the worst record (7-29) in the Western Conference and have lost 17 of their last 20 games.
