Dating back to the summer, the Golden State Warriors have been a team that has reportedly been aggressive in the trade market. As they continue to seek upgrades, new developments suggest that they could be willing to move one of their key players.

During the offseason, Golden State parted ways with a foundational piece of their dynasty in Klay Thompson. A little over six months later, one former player feels Draymond Green could be moved as well.

As the Warriors continue to be linked to big-name players in rumors, the hosts of FanDuel TV's Run It Back reflected on Green being available. Lou Williams feels the former DPOY is a realistic player and thinks he understands the franchise might be willing to move on from him.

"He's a very realistic pro," Williams said of Green. "That's what I've loved about Draymond Green ever since he became a dynamic personality once they started winning championships."

"He even knew that there could be an opportunity for him to be traded last year."

Green, 34, is still an impactful player for Golden State on both ends of the floor. This season, the former All-Star is averaging 8.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 1.1 steals.

Seeing that the franchise was willing to let Thompson go this summer, it's not out of the realm of possibility they move Green if it increases their title odds.

NBA insider links Zion Williamson to Golden State Warriors

Based on how they've been caught up in rumors for over six months now, the Warriors have made their intentions clear. They want to find another high-level talent to pair with Steph Curry while he's still one of the top stars in the league.

In the offseason, Golden State was connected to players like Lauri Markkanen and Paul George. More recently, rumors have suggested they're interested in Jimmy Butler. Now, another former All-Star has been named as a logical fit for them.

As they currently sit with the worst record in the Western Conference, the New Orleans Pelicans have become a team to watch at the deadline. Amid their struggles, reports have suggested they're willing to listen to offers for just about everyone on the roster. The most interesting of the bunch being Zion Williamson.

In their latest column for ESPN, Bobby Marks and Tim MacMahon touched on the former No. 1 pick's situation. When talking about possible landing spots, the Warriors were the first team mentioned.

"The Warriors have $40 million in expiring contracts, up to three first-round picks to trade, young players in Jonathan Kuminga, Brandin Podziemski and the $26.2 million salary of Andrew Wiggins.
As ESPN's Shams Charania reported in December, the Warriors are exploring the market for an All-Star to pair next to Stephen Curry.

When on the floor, Williamson is an impactful forward who would be a fascinating co-star for Curry. However, he's struggled with consistently being available for most of his career. Williamson is currently averaging 22.7 points and 8.0 rebounds on the season but has only appeared in six games.
