Giannis Antetokounmpo made time for his fans amid busy NBA offseason

Giannis Antetokounmpo's walk down Ermou Street embracing his fans came amid the tail end of what has seemingly been a busy NBA offseason for the superstar forward.

Antetokounmpo led Greece to a quarterfinal finish at the 2024 Paris Olympics last month. A few weeks later, he married his longtime partner Mariah Riddlesprigger in his home country on Sept. 1.

With NBA training camp fast approaching, Antetokounmpo will soon gear up to help Milwaukee attempt to bounce back from its underwhelming 2023-24 campaign.

The injury-riddled Bucks were upset by the Indiana Pacers 4-2 in Round 1 of this year's playoffs, marking their second consecutive first-round exit. However, Antetokounmpo was sidelined for the entire series due to a left calf strain.

At full strength, Antetokounmpo and Co. are expected to return to contention in the top-heavy Eastern Conference. The eight-time All-Star will seek to guide Milwaukee to its second title in five seasons. However, the Bucks' road to the NBA Finals will likely go through the defending champion Boston Celtics.
