Giannis Antetokounmpo has built a reputation for being a comedian off the court, and he is back at it again. This time, he tried his best to impersonate one of the game's greatest talents.
During a Milwaukee Bucks practice, Giannis Antetokounmpo was working on shooting threes off the dribble. As we know, the outside shot is the one weak point in the two-time MVP's game. So far this season, Giannis is shooting a measly 24.4% from beyond the arc.
After getting a few threes to fall, he started feeling himself. That's when Giannis Antetokounmpo decided to start having fun with the Milwaukee Bucks' trainers. The six-time All-Star then proceeded to his best impression of LA Lakers star LeBron James, breaking out his signature celebration from when he was with the Miami Heat.

The three may have rolled in on a lucky bounce, but that did not stop Giannis from having his fun while working on his game.
Giannis Antetokounmpo well on his way to third MVP trophy
Christmas Day is a crucial point on the NBA timeline as it's when fans and analysts have a large enough sample to gage players and teams. With more than a handful of games under their belt, discussions for possible seasonal award winners can fully commence.
After winning back-to-back MVP awards in 2018 and 2019, Giannis Antetokounmpo was forced to take a back seat in the race. Despite still putting up high-level numbers, he was a victim of voter fatigue. The Milwaukee Bucks star still got consideration, but never enough to take the top spot from Denver Nuggets big man Nikola Jokic.
Looking at this season, Giannis could be well on his way to adding a third MVP trophy to his list of accolades. With few players winning the award three years in a row, many are expecting a new player to be crowned at the end of the regular season.
For starters, Giannis is having one of the best seasons of his career. Currently, he is averaging 31.7 points (career-high), 11.6 rebounds, and 5.2 assists. On top of that, the Bucks are one of the top teams in the NBA. Prior to the Brooklyn Nets' big winning streak, they were on the heels of the Boston Celtics for the top spot in the Eastern Conference.
As far as MVP goes, Giannis is going to have some stiff competition. Jokic, Kevin Durant, and Jayson Tatum are all in the midst of great seasons as well. That being said, if he stays at this pace, "The Greek Freak" should like his chances.
