Jose Alvarado won it all at the 2023 Rising Stars Game

Alvarado was mic'd up during the match between the best young players in the NBA. Shortly before he hit a game-winning 3, the Pelicans guard made a bet with Donovan Mitchell that he'd make a game-winning shot if he got the ball.

Considering that the 24-yaer-old guard was amazing all night long, it's no surprise that he had a lot of confidence at the end of the game. With his team leading 22-20, Alvarado hit a 3-pointer to reach the target score of 25 points and end the tournament.

It's interesting that Jose Alvarado is the only undrafted player who participated in the game. However, he showed the world how good he is and that the Pelicans have an amazing young player in him.

Alvarado is having a great season with the Pelicans

Thanks to his incredible game-winning shot, Alvarado's popularity will skyrocket over the next few days. However, Pelicans fans already know how good he is and how much potential he has.

Standing at six feet, Jose Alvarado is one of the most fearless defenders in the league. He's averaging 1.1 steals per game and he had a 4-steal game against the Philadelphia 76ers earlier in the season.
