Bronny James is finally in his senior year of high school, which means he will play in college soon. Now a senior, James appears to be playing his most explosive basketball yet. During his younger years, he would barely score and mainly focused on rotating the ball. These days, James is looking more like his father LeBron, and fans are loving every bit of it.
Bronny James is trending once again on social media, as he exploded for 25 points against Crossroads. Sierra Canyon beat their opponents 77-61. Six of James' shots came from behind the arc.

He's always had this kind of potential in previous years, but his talents are starting to show more this season. Even fans on social media are starting to recognize his improvement as a senior.
Can Bronny James live up to his father's standards?
Bronny James and his father's high school basketball careers have been very different. LeBron James was destined for greatness, while his kid is expected to be great just because he's the son of the King. Young LeBron was already his school's number one option on the team even as a freshman. Bronny, meanwhile, was more of a role player in his earlier years.
James moved to Sierra Canyon School on May 29, 2019, for his first year of high school. He made his varsity debut against Montgomery High School, scoring ten points off the bench. Notably, he beat his father's alma mater, St. Vincent-St. Mary High School, on December 14, 2019, and was awarded the game MVP with 15 points, including the game-winning layup.
Bronny James was the lone member of Sierra Canyon to play in all 34 games as a rookie, averaging 4.1 points in 15 minutes per game. Looking at his father's numbers as a freshman, James Sr. averaged 24.3 points in just 20 games. No wonder a lot of pressure is being put on James Jr.'s back. Thankfully, LeBron isn't forcing anything on his son and is just allowing him to run to the beat of his own drum.
As of November 6, Bronny James is a four-star recruit in the class of 2023. He's currently ranked 34 in ESPN's overall recruitment rankings. Given how James has been dominant to start his senior year, it wouldn't be surprising if he suddenly climbs the ranks.
