LeBron James might be 38 but still has insane hops. Early in the second quarter of the LA Lakers' game against the Golden State Warriors, James threw down an insane one-handed alley-oop.
"The King" entered the game nursing a minor hand injury suffered in the 2023 NBA All-Star Game. However, it seems like James is not feeling that all given the viciousness of the slam.
The Lakers were up against the Warriors, an important game for both teams looking to make the playoffs. The Lakers will need to win most of their remaining games, while the defending champions were 29-29 before tipoff.

Lakers beat Warriors despite LeBron James' off night
LeBron James had an off night for the first time since turning 38 years old. James shot just 5-for-20 in the LA Lakers' game against the Golden State Warriors. He finished with 13 points, nine rebounds and eight assists.
It wouldn't have been enough for the old Lakers, but their bench came up huge to help beat the defending champions 124-111. Anthony Davis also had a quiet game with 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Malik Beasley led the Lakers with 25 points, three rebounds and three steals. Austin Reaves was huge off the bench, contributing 17 points, four assists and two steals. Mo Bamba, Dennis Schroder, Rui Hachimura and Lonnie Walker IV also scored in double digits off the bench.
Meanwhile, the Warriors struggled all game long with their shooting. They shot just 38.1% from the field and 28.6% from beyond the arc. Klay Thompson led Golden State with 22 points, while Jordan Poole added 16 points and four assists.
