Watch: Mike Brown repeats 'possession' 26 times in postgame presser after Kings win

Sacramento Kings head coach Mike Brown led the Kings to a convincing 141-97 home win against the Utah Jazz last night. Speaking after the game in the post-game presser, the Kings' coach hilariously repeated the word "after possession" 26 times to emphasize the Kings' new strategy moving forward.

"We just need to be methodical by stacking or playing the right way, possession, after possession (26 times). You guys got what I am saying?" Brown said.

The Kings have struggled with scoring this season. Coupled with their lousy patch of form that saw them lose four straight games between November 18 and 25.

However, since losing 110-115 to the Memphis Grizzlies on December 5, the team has scored back-to-back 140 points in their last two games. This then led Mike Brown to repeatedly suggest a new formula for his team's success: possession by possession.

The Kings dominated the Jazz from start to finish and ended the first half with a 17-point gap. The second half was more one-sided as the Kings raced into a 31-point lead at the end of the third quarter and closed the game with a 46-point lead, their biggest win margin so far this season.

Kevin Huerter led the Kings with a game-high 26 points to go with his five rebounds and four assists. De'Aaron Fox scored 21 points, created nine assists, and had four rebounds.

What next for Mike Brown and the Kings?

Mike Brown, last night, was able to take the Kings' winning run to two games. Against the Utah Jazz, they shot 62.5% from the field and 50% from the three-point line, which was enough to see off the Jazz, who are on a poor run of form.

The Kings visit the Smoothie King Center on December 12 to face the New Orleans Pelicans. Although the Pelicans are having a poor season, their head-to-head encounter favors the Pelicans, who haven't lost to the Kings in their last six match-ups.

Immediately after that, home games would be challenging as they go up against the Denver Nuggets and the Los Angeles Lakers (twice). Mike Brown will hope that his possession formula works the magic as they need to climb the standings if they are to stand a chance of making it to the postseason.
