WATCH: Nikola Jokic graciously accepts wine in a bag from fan on the street

The NBA is in the off-season right now, and players, including Nikola Jokic, are enjoying their time off from the hardwood with their families. The Denver Nuggets superstar is back in his homeland of Serbia after leading his team to a bronze medal finish at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

While in his homeland, Jokic was spotted graciously receiving a bottle of wine from a female fan. Video of the incident has surfaced on X. In the clip, Jokic is seen walking past a crowd awaiting his arrival. He is wearing a white tank top and black shorts. To finish his look the Nuggets star donned a black and red hat.

When Jokic arrived, the crowd applauded, welcoming the pride of their nation. In response, the reigning NBA MVP waived his hand and gave some lucky fans high-fives.

However, as he was about to pass the crowd a lady stuck out a packaged wine bottle. Jokic spotted the gift and graciously accepted it. The Nuggets star observed the bottle as he walked away from his fans.

The video of Nikola Jokic receiving the wine bottle as a gift went viral on social media. Fans flooded comment sections with their opinion of the incident with one fan posing the question that the Nuggets star should test the drink before actually drinking it.

"Wonder if he’s actually gonna drink it? Gotta have someone else try it first right?!?"

Other fans joined the fray and expressed their opinions of the MVP's actions.

"He stopped in his tracks. Looked like he's trying to keep a good buzz going lol," @RealBenjaminz said.

Nikola Jokic had another strong season with the Nuggets last year, reaching the Western Conference semifinals. He will be back in action in October when the new NBA season starts.
