Former Boston Celtics star Paul Pierce had some plans for his Jalen Brunson jersey after the New York Knicks failed to win at home in Game 7 against the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference semifinals.

Pierce posted a video on his social media accounts of him stomping on his newly bought jersey repeatedly after the Knicks were eliminated.

"What you say homie? What?" Pierce said as he was stomping on Brunson's jersey. "What you say? Y'all still talking? Get outta here."

Pierce followed it up with a message for the Knicks fans.

"Yall Knick fans are delusional stfu and get over it ya season is over deal wit it .Good yr tho."

During the first round of the playoffs, the former Celtics star made a bet with the Knicks fans that he'd buy a Brunson jersey if they won against the Philadelphia 76ers. The Sixers eventually lost in the first round and Pierce kept his word by buying the jersey that he promised.

But now that the Knicks have been eliminated in the postseason, Pierce has no reason to wear the jersey.

New York had a shot against the Pacers, but the team suffered too many injuries. Even Brunson broke his hand in the middle of the third quarter in Game 7 as he tried to steal the ball from Tyrese Haliburton. The one-time All-Star only played for 29 minutes and had to sit for the rest of the game.

Brunson had a great series against Indiana as he averaged 31.8 points, 2.7 rebounds and 5.7 assists in six games. This includes two games where he had more than 40 points.

The Knicks have suffered countless injuries in the postseason, from Brunson to Josh Hart to OG Anunoby, and it would have been tough for them to play against the Celtics. But after New York's loss, Pierce's wish was granted and Indiana is set to play Boston in the conference finals.
