After winning gold as part of Team USA's Men's Basketball team at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Stephen Curry signed a one-year $62.6 million contract extension with the Golden State Warriors. But before the 2024-25 NBA season officially begins, Curry has been keeping himself busy with off-court activities.

Earlier today, the Warriors star joined Swiss tennis maestro Roger Federer on the "TODAY Show." The four-time NBA champion entered the studio in a stylish army green and black-colored ensemble, shook hands and hugged Federer, before sitting down for the interview.

Curry matched his fit with shoes that combined black, green and white hues, while Federer was clad in a suit and a pair of black leather shoes.

Even after retiring in 2022, Federer remains an impactful name in the world of sports. He is also considered by some as the greatest of all time in tennis.

During their "TODAY Show" guesting, the two talked about their athletic endeavors and stopped to take photos with some kids. Curry even did a basketball tutorial with his Mr. Throwback co-star, SNL's Ego Nwodim. Aside from doing some quick shooting and ball movements, Curry also showed his Olympic gold medal to the audience at the Plaza.

Stephen Curry drops big statement about his future with Warriors

Stephen Curry has built a Hall of Fame resume with the Golden State Warriors. From four championships to several individual awards, Curry remains the greatest from his team to ever step on the basketball court. However, it appears like his championship window is closing each day.

On the "TODAY Show," Curry was asked if he wanted to end his career with the Warriors; his new contract will keep him with the team until the 2026-27 season. The Warriors star said that he hopes so, but he also wants to continue winning championships.

"I hope so for sure," Curry said. "I’ve been there, going into my 16th year. I've always said it’s a goal of mine to finish my career with that organization… I wanna keep winning, obviously, and I know we have hopefully some days ahead of still doing that."

The Warriors have not been a dynamic force in the league after the 2018-19 season. Although they won a championship in 2022, they have not been the best for a while now.

With how the team is currently constructed, they are nowhere near winning a title in the next few years. Given how hungry Curry has been for more championships, he could have demands from the front office to improve the roster. It's interesting to see how they would accommodate his demands when the time comes.
