LeBron James' son Bronny James has been on the spotlight since getting drafted by the LA Lakers with the 55th pick. The father-son duo is under scrutiny for the way Bronny got into the league. However, former Dallas Mavericks forward Chandler Parsons defended "King James" for using his "juice" to team up with his son.
On "Run It Back" on FanDuel TV, Parsons and Lou Williams agreed that they would do the same thing LeBron did. They are on board with helping their son make it to the NBA, with Parsons adding that the Lakers superstar's influence is another factor.
"If we had that kind of juice and power like LeBron, I would do the same God damn thing," Parsons said.
"I'll do the same thing. 1000% I'll use my leverage, I'll use my juice. I would the same exact thing, so it's hard to knock him for doing that when we would all do the same exact thing."

While some fans' critic on Bronny James are valid, given what he has showed in the preseason, there are still toxic comments online.
It's part of being the son of LeBron James, who has dealt with it his entire career. LeBron continues to be under the microscope in Year 22 and having won four championships.
The four-time NBA MVP also wants his son to deal with questions from the media, so he deflected a question about Bronny. He was asked about the 20-year-old guard's experience with the LA Lakers so far.
"Unfortunately, I don't know," James said. "Has he talked to him? Well, you gotta ask him. He's a grown man; ask him how he's handling it.
"He's a grown man, a professional, and he can handle it and answer these questions himself, but you know, good or bad, why the attention is here."
Bronny's next chance to shine is on Tuesday against the Golden State Warriors at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Charles Barkley shows support for LeBron James and his son's success
Hall of Famer and NBA legend Charles Barkley has no time to hate on LeBron James and his son's dream to play together.
Barkley showed his support for the father-son duo in an interview with Ahn Fire Digital. He also gave a stern warning to Bronny about players coming after him.
"I'm glad he's just healthy, and we're all rooting for him 'cause we have so much respect for LeBron," Barkley said. "It's not gonna be easy because he has a target on his back because of his last name.
"There's gonna be a certain amount of petty jealousness of people who are like, 'You don't deserve to be in the NBA. You're not as good as some of these other players. You only got in because of your dad.'"
If LeBron and Bronny get to play on the same court on Opening Night, they will become the first father-son duo in NBA history to do so.
