Sacramento Kings forward Chimezie Metu is not afraid of the Golden State Warriors despite losing to Steph Curry and crew on Friday. The Kings have clinched the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference and could face the defending champions in the first round of the playoffs.
In his postgame interview, Metu was asked about the possibility of getting matched up against Golden State in the first round. He said that the Kings are not scared of any team in the West and that they will be prepared.
"They're the defending champs," Metu said. "It's going to be tough to go in there and get toe-to-toe, but we're going to attack it head on. We're not scared of them. We're not scared of anybody, one through eight. We're just going to go in there. We feel like when we're at full health, we can go in there and beat them. That's what we're going to do."

The Sacramento Kings are in unfamiliar territory after clinching the third seed in the Western Conference. The Kings are back in the playoffs for the first time since 2006. They're awaiting the identity of their opponent for the postseason, and it could be holders Golden State Warriors.
Draymond Green recently revealed on "The Draymond Green Show" that he would prefer to face the Kings in the first round. Green explained that the trip would be much smoother, as Sacramento is just under an hour away from San Francisco by flight.
"The reason why I say Sac is simply just because of the travel," Green said. "That's a lot on your body, and we could bust right an hour and 10 minutes away, I just think that's much better for us. Now, Sac is playing well and a very good team. But just from the travel, at the end of the day, I don't really care who we play in the playoffs."
