The duo of Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns are getting support from their teammate Josh Hart. TNT's "Inside the NBA" will announce the 2025 All-Star Game starters on their show on Thursday. The New York Knicks pair have a case to be starters and Hart continues to campaign for them.
Both Brunson and Towns have led the Knicks to the third spot in the Eastern Conference with a 29-16 record. The two stars continue to play at an elite level, leading fans to vote for them for one of the league's biggest events. Not only are the fans seeing their production, their teammates have benefitted from their play.
On X (formerly Twitter), Hart campaigned for his teammates ahead of the announcement.
"If 11 and 32 aren’t starters….We Riot," Hart posted on X.

In the third (and final) All-Star fan voting returns, Towns garnered votes to be in the top three among the frontcourt players in the East. The Knicks big man was voted for 2,455,331 times by the fans. Brunson, on the other hand, wasn't able to crack the top two among the backcourt players. He was in fourth place among backcourt players with 1,243,385 votes.
Towns has had a resurgence since getting traded to the Knicks. In 40 games played, KAT is averaging 25.1 points, 13.9 rebounds and 3.5 assists. The former Minnesota Timberwolves star is also making the most of his shots from the field, knocking down 54.5% from the field and 43.3% from deep.
Meanwhile, Brunson, has been doing the same thing as last season, playing at an all-time high. The point guard has played 44 games, averaging 26.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 7.3 assists on an efficient 48.6% shooting.
Even if one of them doesn't become an All-Star starter this season, coaches can vote them in as part of the reserves. With their stats and the team success, an argument can be made for their spot on this year's All-Star team.
Does Josh Hart have a case for the All-Star Game this season?
While KAT and Brunson have taken over the spotlight, Josh Hart has done the dirty work and has become the heart of their offense. As the team's wingman, Hart has handled scoring and rebounding as well as any other big man.
The 6-foot-5 guard is averaging 14.0 points, 9.6 rebounds and 5.6 assists. Hart is the leader among guards when it comes to rebounding. He's also displayed an all-around brand of basketball, notching five triple-doubles this season.
Even with his stats, fans have not recognized the hard work that he's put in this season. But he could have an argument as an All-Star reserve, if coaches vote him in.
