Christmas, who shares a son with Jordan's daughter Jasmine, made two posts on his Instagram story.

"The weapons formed against me this year did NOT prosper. God reminded me, more than ever, that He will never forsake me, and for that, I am grateful," Christmas wrote in one of his IG story.

The relationship between Michael Jordan and his son-in-law is not well documented. However, in January 2018, in a conversation with Stuff, Christmas revealed that there have been times when Jordan has provided him with guidance.

"Whenever I see him we talk a little bit," Christmas told Stuff. "When I was home just now we'd be at the Hornets games and we would talk about little things. He always gives me tips and advice with certain decisions that I'd ask him about."

He was later selected 36th overall in the second round of the 2015 NBA Draft by the Timberwolves. Soon after, the Timberwolves trade his draft rights to the Cleveland Cavaliers. He played the Summer League for the Cavaliers that season and soon after he was traded to the Indiana Pacers.

Christmas played two seasons with the Pacers. He played just one game in his rookie season and was sent to the D-League. In his second season with the Pacers, he played 29 games before he was waived by the team.

Since being waived by the Pacers, Christmas has been playing overseas. He has played in the Turkish League, NBL, the Philippines and currently plays for Marineros de Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic.
