Malik Beasley had some run-ins with a Hall of Fame player, and it caused a whirlwind of drama that affected his personal life. Additionally, this was why he had a short beef with former star player for the Chicago Bulls, Scottie Pippen.
In 2020, Scottie and his former wife, Larsa, had just ended things with each other. At the time, Beasley was already Larsa's ex-boyfriend and was sentenced to 120 days in jail. The six-time NBA champion took the opportunity to call the younger player a "loser."
"When Malik got 90 days or something in jail, (Scottie) sent it to me. He’s like, 'Go ahead, keep talking to these losers,'" Larsa said.

Malik Beasley used to date Larsa Pippen
Beasley and Larsa dated for four months before the Hall of Fame forward called him a loser. Malik was in the middle of having his own relationship and was also sentenced to 120 days in jail after pleading guilty to one felony count of threats of violence.
Beasley has long since broken up with Pippen and returned to his girlfriend, sharing the responsibility of raising their child. The Utah Jazz player posted an apology on his Instagram account in 2021.
"I wanna say sorry for putting you in the situation you were put in the last few months.. my head wasn’t where it was supposed to be … I was looking for more when it was right here that whole time … I’m telling the world and you that there’s nobody like you for me," Beasley wrote.
