Ben Simmons' contract might be one of the worst in the NBA. Unfortunately, when he was traded from the Philadelphia 76ers to the Brooklyn Nets, he struggled on the court. Plenty of that has to do with some of the injuries that he's had to deal with. However, more than physical injuries could be the cause.

He's most likely going to miss the remainder of the season, having been diagnosed with a nerve impingement on his back earlier this week.

Fortunately for him, Ben Simmons' contract is still getting paid as he's making $177.2 million in his five-year deal. This season, Simmons will be paid $35.4 million.
