Ernie Johnson has been the host of Inside the NBA on TNT since 1990, while also covering baseball and college basketball for the network. Johnson is a six-time Emmy Sports winner and one of the best sportscasters ever.
With more than 30 years of experience on television, Johnson has an estimated net worth of $16 million. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Johnson amassed his wealth from his salary from Turner Sports. The 66-year-old reportedly earns $5 million per year.
The Inside the NBA crew recently signed new deals to remain together on the air for the years to come. Charles Barkley's rumored extension is reportedly worth upwards of $200 million, so Johnson, Kenny Smith, and Shaquille O'Neal got raises.
"I always say there are 'Got to, jobs' and 'Get to, jobs,' and the four of us clearly have 'Get to, jobs,'" Johnson said in a press release. "It's been a journey of a lifetime to work on this show, with Charles, Kenny, and Shaquille at the desk and alongside such an amazingly talented crew behind the scenes. I'm very blessed."

Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith, and Shaquille O'Neal shared stories about Mrs. Johnson. Barkley said she was a great parent not just to Ernie, but to them as well. Smith said the bond they have is much bigger than basketball, while O'Neal praised her for raising Ernie, who he called the greatest gentleman he has ever met.
