A bunch of LA Lakers fans have realistic expectations for the team in the upcoming 2024-25 NBA season. Apparently, they have no faith in the Lakers finishing as the No. 1 seed in a loaded Western Conference. The franchise barely made any changes to its roster in the offseason and hired a first-time coach.
In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, a popular LeBron James fan page named @BronGotGame or "LeBronchitis" asked the Lakers nation about their feelings on the team being the No. 1 seed next season.
"What are the chances the Lakers claim 1st seed the whole year next season?" the page asked.

Despite the account having a lot of belief in LeBron James, most LA Lakers fans who replied were less than optimistic about their chances of being the best team in the Western Conference. They would have had a better mindset if the Lakers hadn't struck out on many big-name free agents.
"What is another word for none?" a fan asked.
"If Steph joins the team during the February trade deadline," a fan predicted.
"It all depends on how well we start the first 2 months. We can't be skating around .500 by December," another fan commented.
The LA Lakers barely made any major changes to their roster this offseason. They added a couple of rookies, but most of their players remained the same. It's almost the same players who helped the team finish seventh last season.
"The same chances of the Hornets winning the championship next year," a fan replied.
"If every single team except the lakers faces serious injuries emotional distress and all simultaneously sell their franchises, then I still don't believe," one fan claimed.
"I'm just wishing everyone is healthy when the playoffs come," another fan remarked.

- Colin Castleton (Two-Way Player)
