What is Steph Curry’s rating in NBA 2K25? Taking a close look 

NBA 2K announced on Monday that Steph Curry will be rated 95 overall in NBA 2K25. The announcement means Curry's overall dropped one rating point from last year.

Curry's 96 overall rating has been consistent for several iterations of the game going back to NBA 2K22. At the time, Curry was fresh off an impressive 2020-21 season, where he led the league in scoring with 32.0 points per game — a career-high for the famed guard.

After being rated as a 96 overall in NBA 2K22 before the 2021-22 season, Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors went on to win the NBA title that same year. That said, Curry's rating remained 96 overall for NBA 2K23 and NBA 2K24 despite only playing 56 games in the 2022-23 campaign.

Additionally, Curry's scoring numbers dropped last season to 26.4 ppg as he and the Warriors missed the NBA Playoffs. Although he's coming off a big summer with Team USA, which saw the four-time NBA champion go off in back-to-back games to help the US capture gold, his rating will start as a 95 overall in NBA 2K25.

Of course, given that NBA 2K updates player ratings throughout the season, Curry could still wind up being bumped up to a 96 overall or higher depending on how the season plays out.

Looking at the top-rated players in NBA 2K25 with Steph Curry ranked seventh with a 95 overall

With a 95 overall rating, Steph Curry is ranked seventh on the NBA 2K25 top 10 list. Ahead of the highly anticipated release of the game on Sep. 6, NBA 2K has continued to unveil more player ratings.

On Monday, 2K announced the top 10 players in the game, with Nikola Jokic, Luka Doncic and Giannis Antetokounmpo all tied for the best rating in the game. All three players will be rated as a 97 overall.

Jokic was notably rated as a 98 overall on NBA 2K24, after being bumped up from a 96 overall in the previous edition. Joel Embiid on the other hand has been sitting at a 96 overall since NBA 2K23, after he was bumped up from a 95 overall in NBA 2K22.

In the case of Giannis Antetkounmpo, he has been a 97 overall twice before, once in NBA 2K21 and again in NBA 2K23; however, in NBA 2K24 he fell to a 96 overall.

In fourth and fifth place, Joel Embiid and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander are tied with 96 overall ratings, followed by a three-way tie for 95 overall ratings. In addition to Steph Curry, both LeBron James and Jayson Tatum will have the same rating in 2K25.

Rounding out the top 10 are Kevin Durant and Anthony Davis, who are both set to be rated at 94 overall once the game is released.
