Luka Doncic on Lakers' recent struggles

Luka Doncic and the LA Lakers are amid a three-game losing skid as the NBA season draws to a close. He shared his thoughts about the slump following Monday's 118-106 road loss to the Orlando Magic.

Doncic attributed that the team should look back at how they played during their eight-game winning streak from late February until early this month. The winning run catapulted the Lakers in the standings, and the team even held the Western Conference's No. 2 spot at one point.

"I think we just gotta look back at the way we played on that eight-game winning streak," Doncic said. "We were physical, we played a hell of a defense. I think we just got a little bit satisfied, but we can't afford that right now.
"We know we can do it, and we just gotta look back and maybe watch the film from those games, how we were playing. We were physical, we were flying around, and we told on ourselves. We know we can do it."

With 11 games remaining on their schedule, every game is crucial for Luka Doncic and the Lakers (43-28). They hold a slim two-and-a-half-game lead over the sixth and final guaranteed playoff berth.
