Star appeared on the BFFs podcast hosted by David Portnoy, Josh Richards and Bri Chickenfry in March 2020. Star was canceled in late 2020 after he was linked with Shane Dawson and many other names, including Tati Westbrook and James Charles.

During the interview, Star revealed a range of details about his past affairs, claiming that while he had been involved with several rappers and NBA stars, he would never reveal their names. Apart from his own moral code, Star contended that he had received murder threats if the names ever came out:
“A lot of NBA players and rappers, yes, but I have a code where I’m never going to out them. A lot of them have threatened to murder me if I ever say their names. The s*x is great. The names are invisible.”
The YouTuber said he was like a “lovable internet cockroach” and asked his critics to “keep their f***ing mouth shut.”

Of course, there is no way to know whether Jeffrey Star’s comments had any truth concerning the links with NBA players. The YouTuber had even been linked to Kanye West. However, the 37-year-old said he merely played into the rumors because they were “ridiculous”:
“He’s [Kanye West] too short for me, I’m not into that.”
He went on to speak about being canceled, saying he never took a break from the influencer sphere:
“I never really stopped. I took a break, a little break, to really really evaluate life, but I always keep it moving.”
The only former basketball star Jeffrey Star has revealed details about is Andre Marhold. Marhold has never featured in the NBA and most recently played for the JobStairs GIESSEN 46ers in Germany. The two have not revealed much about their past relationship but are known to have been committed to each other for several years.
