"When my man says I have too many skin care products" - Savannah James takes playful dig at LeBron James in latest IG story

LeBron James’ wife, Savannah, is one of the most sought-after personalities on social media. She has 2.4 million followers who regularly keep tabs on her latest fashion and skin care product recommendations.

The NBA superstar has continuously praised her passion for such things. However, Savannah took a little shot at her husband on Wednesday. She shared a post on her Instagram story of a photo that had the caption:

“When my man says I already have too many skin care products.”

In an interview with Allure magazine in 2023, LeBron James' wife revealed that she doesn't compromise shower time. She said that the time spent in her bathtub, the place she calls her "happy place," gives her plenty of opportunity to clean her skin. The “Let It Break” founder said that she has been trying to teach LeBron the habit of doing the same thing.

In the same report, Savannah James had this to say about skin care products:

“I can't not do my skin care. It has to happen. It's non-negotiable. I could come in at 3 a.m. and I'm going to wash my face and do my skin care and decompress before I get into bed.”

She added that she would have preferred to take care of his skin needs but doesn’t always get the chance. According to her, the LA Lakers superstar would rather “watch football” or do something.

Regardless of what "King James" would do, she has been determined to take care of her skin.

Last year, LeBron James went on the same social media platform to hype up his wife’s skincare brand.

“UH-OH!!!!!! @mrs_savannahrj skin care line is in the works. Testing out the ingredients, products and all. Don’t hate if y’all see my face start shining and looking apart! It ain’t my fault, don’t blame me!”

The clip showed the four-time NBA MVP looking at bottles labeled with nighttime moisture, daytime moisture and all-day serum, respectively. It’s safe to assume that he must have used it as he has 100% trust in his wife’s skin care products.

Although the brand did not take off, Savannah James unquestionably still has her staples in her beauty cabinet. Perhaps the four-time NBA champ sometimes couldn’t resist poking fun at her which was why she responded with the dig.
