The 2020 draft class has produced incredible talent and is starting to showcase this season. Here are a few players who weren't mentioned yet, but are having an incredible season besides Anthony Edwards.
Devin Vassell
After Dejounte Murray was traded to the Atlanta Hawks over the summer, there were questions as to who would be the new leader for the San Antonio Spurs. Devin Vassell rose and answered the call. Together with Keldon Johnson, Vassell has emerged as San Antonio's new leader.
The former 11th pick is averaging 19.9 ppg, 4.0 rpg and 3.5 apg for the famed franchise.
Tyrese Haliburton
After getting traded by the Sacramento Kings, Tyrese Haliburton was disheartened. Luckily for him, the Indiana Pacers value him and have started the rebuild around his talent.
As the Pacers' starting point guard, he's averaging 19.8 ppg, 4.3 rpg and 10.6 apg, making him the league leader in assists per game. The future is bright for the 12th pick.
Saddiq Bey
Saddiq Bey is the perfect complimentary player for Cade Cunningham and other young stars with the Detroit Pistons. Bey's numbers have gone down, but are still vital to the Pistons' system.
The 19th pick of the 2020 draft is averaging 14.4 ppg, 4.2 rpg and 1.7 apg.
Overall, Anthony Edwards is still one of the top players in his draft class. However, he needs to do better, as others are slowly catching up to him.
