The Elite 8 of 2023 March Madness is set after a couple of upset wins on the second day of Sweet 16. No. 1 Alabama and No. 1 Houston were eliminated on Friday (Mar. 24) by No. 5 San Diego State and No. 5 Miami, respectively.
No. 6 Creighton ended No. 15 Princeton's Cinderella run, while No. 2 Texas dominated No. 3 Xavier in the first half en route to an easy double-digit win. San Diego State, Miami, Creighton and Texas complete this year's regional quarterfinals.
They join No. 3 Gonzaga, No. 4 UConn, No. 3 Kansas State and No. 9 Florida Atlantic in the final eight. Gonzaga earned a hard-fought win over UCLA, while UConn cruised through the first three rounds. Kansas State had a thrilling overtime win against Michigan State and FAU shocked Tennessee.

Elite 8 start date, time and TV schedule
This year's Elite 8 is scheduled for March 25 and 26. All four games will be played in a different arena, with the winners advancing to the Final Four. It will be held at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas from March 31 to April 2. For the first time in NCAA history, there are no No. 1 teams in the regional quarterfinals.
