Where to watch Orlando Magic vs Dallas Mavericks? TV details, streaming options, and more (Nov. 3) | 2024-25 NBA Season

The Orlando Magic take on the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday (Nov.3) as they continue their five-game road trip and hit the West for their next two games. Both teams meet for the first time this season and will look to climb out of their midfield positions. The Magic are 3-3 in their six games, while Dallas are 3-2 in their five contests so far.

The Magic will also be without their star forward Paolo Banchero. The 21-year-old has been sidelined indefinitely with a torn oblique and that comes as a massive blow for Orlando's offense. The Mavericks may also consider resting Luka Doncic after landing heavily on his elbow in the last game against the Houston Rockets. The guard quashed all rumors of a serious injury but it will be something to monitor for Dallas.

Both teams met twice last season with the Mavs winning both contests. They also lead the head-to-head vs the Magic 42-29 in 71 regular-season matchups.

Orlando Magic vs Dallas Mavericks player to watch out for: Klay Thompson

Klay Thompson has been off to a good start in his maiden season with the Dallas Mavericks. The veteran forward was one of the names linked to the Orlando Magic this summer before he finally inked a three-year deal with Dallas to link up with Doncic and Kyrie Irving. His catch-and-shoot skillset, along with his pesky defense has already made an impact for the top-heavy Mavs who are 3-2 to start the season.

Thompson has cemented himself as the third scoring option for the Mavericks this season. In his five games so far, the 4x NBA champion has been averaging 15.6 points, 1.2 assists, and 1.2 steals, shooting 43.8% from the field, and 38.8% from beyond the arc.

He will be one of the marquee names keen to post big numbers against the Magic who have struggled on both ends of the floor in Banchero's absence. Only time will tell if Thompson's solid start can continue consistently for the Mavericks as they aim for a title this edition.
