New York Knicks vs. Boston Celtics (2024-25 NBA season opener)

During the season opener, Jayson Tatum and the Celtics receive their championship rings as they take on Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks. In addition to their 64-18 regular season mark, Boston finished last season with a dominant postseason run.

LeBron James enters his 22nd season, and he will do it alongside his son, Bronny. The pair is the first father-son duo to become NBA teammates. It will also be the debut game for LAL coach JJ Redick. The former noted sniper is determined to help Los Angeles regain its winning edge.

Golden State Warriors vs. Portland Trail Blazers (2024-25 NBA season opener)

After losing Klay Thompson to free agency, Stephen Curry and Draymond Green remain as standouts from the team's iconic championship core. However, with the additions of Buddy Hield, Kyle Anderson and De'Anthony Melton, the team has made much-needed improvements to its roster depth.
