Caitlin Clark continues to make a name for herself, delivering the goods for Iowa at the NCAA Women's Tournament. The two-time reigning Big-10 Player of the Year has led her team to the final four stages.

Clark grew up in Iowa, where her basketball journey started as a five-year-old. Clark drew inspiration from former WNBA star Maya Moore and frequently watched her in action. The Iowa point guard joined the All Iowa Attack AAU program as a sixth grader and played for them until her high school graduation.

Clark went to Dowling Catholic High School, where she made a name for herself. She averaged 27.1 points, 6.5 rebounds, four assists, and 2.3 steals in her sophomore season.

Clark continued to deliver in her junior and senior high school seasons. She tallied 32.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 2.3 steals per game as a junior and 33.4 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and 2.7 steals per game as a senior, leading the state in scoring in consecutive seasons.

Caitlin Clark tallied 2,547 points in four high school seasons, the fourth highest in Iowa's five-on-five history. She earned three Class 5A All-State first-team selections and one second-team selection, winning two Player of the Year awards, the Des Moines Register's All-Iowa Athlete of the Year, and Iowa Miss Basketball during her high school tenure.

Clark also earned McDonald's All-American and Jordan Brand Classic selections in 2020. Clark has also played internationally, winning one FIBA Americas U-16 title and two U-19 FIBA Gold Medals representing the USA Women's basketball team. She was also the MVP of the 2021 U-19 FIBA World Cup.

Caitlin Clark is committed to playing college basketball in Iowa, declining offers from Iowa State and Notre Dame. Clark has successfully carried over her high school dominance to college basketball. She averaged 27/6/7 her freshman year, 27/8/8 her sophomore season, and 27/7/8 this season. Clark shot at an efficient 47/38/84 clip.

In three seasons, Clark led Iowa to the Elite 8 in 2021, the second round in 2022 and now the final four stages of the NCAA tournament. The Iowa starting point guard has broken several scoring, assists, and 3-point shooting records during her college career.

She is the only women's college player to lead Division I in scoring (x2) and assists (x1) in the same season. Caitlin Clark has led Iowa to consecutive Big 10 championships in 2022 and 2023, winning the MOP on both occasions. Clark has earned three First Team All-Big Ten honors. She claimed the Big Ten Freshman of the Year award in 2021 and is the reigning two-time Big Ten Player of the Year.

Caitlin Clark continued her stellar NCAA run with a 41-point, 10-rebound, and 12-assist triple-double for No. 2 Iowa in their 97-83 Elite 8 win over No. 5 Louisville. Clark's performance powered Iowa to their first final-four appearance since 1993. Clark scored 22 runs in the first half against Louisville, helping her team take control initially. Iowa continued to build off of it and secure a comfortable win.

It was Clark's fifth triple-double this season and the 11th of her career. The Iowa guard became the first women's player to record a 40-point triple-double at the men's or women's tournaments.

It was her second triple-double performance at this year's March Madness. Clark had a 31-point triple-double in Iowa's first-round win over Ohio State.
